Key Responsibilities- Knowledgeable in NEC and MSHA requirements
- Able to complete MSHA monthly inspections
- Troubleshooting electrical issues on mobile heavy equipment, including electric drive haul trucks, electric shovels, PLC control systems, light plants, overhead cranes, elevators, conveyor belts, substations, high-voltage power distribution systems, AC/DC motor maintenance, and 24-volt electrical systems
- High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or a related area
- Working knowledge skills and abilities for the position
- Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently
- Able to meet all physical requirements
- Must have all required tools
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
