OVERVIEW:
This role entails routine laboratory assessments of food items. It necessitates a keen eye for detail and superior organizational capabilities.

SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday: Morning shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential skills derived from prior laboratory experience include:
Compliance with laboratory and facility safety protocols

  • Precise measurement, pipetting, and quantitative transfer of samples and solutions, with the ability to handle hazardous materials safely, including solution preparation.
  • Operation and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
  • Collaborate and maintain a laboratory environment as part of a cohesive team.
  • Prioritize tasks to enhance output and adhere to deadlines.
  • Perform analytical testing procedures.
  • Follow Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards.
  • Uphold a workspace that meets safety regulations.
Engage with Operations and Food Safety Quality (FSQ) regarding analytical matters.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma

OTHER QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical proficiency, critical thinking, adaptability, results-oriented mindset, teamwork, and integrity.
  • Ability to function effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Capability to work autonomously.
  • Skill in organizing tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving business and laboratory demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic Word and Excel applications.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Required to wear steel-toed footwear and designated clothing.
  • All jewelry must be removable.
