About the Role

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results in our optical department. This role is a key contributor to the success of our business, and we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to patients and customers
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment and foster strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory
  • Embody an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills
  • Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Self-motivation and ability to multi-task in a quickly changing environment
