Healthcare Sales Representative

Role SummaryThe Membership Outreach Specialist is a key member of our sales team, responsible for generating sales leads of potential Medicare-eligible seniors as prospect patients. This role involves nurturing relationships with senior citizens, local community partners, contracted plan Captive agents, and Independent Brokers in the area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a productive monthly and quarterly sales plan to achieve new patient goals.
- Plan and execute local community events, such as tabletop events, health fairs, and partnerships with local food banks, to reach our target audience of Medicare-eligible senior citizens.
- Generate leads by prospecting, building, and maintaining relationships with the above-mentioned groups.
- Cultivate solid relationships with contracted health plan agents, independent brokers, senior housing leaders, senior recreation centers, and local churches.
- Educate potential patients on our services at local events and through health agents, providing a personalized tour of our center and introducing them to our PCPs and staff.
- Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to prospects, patients, health agents, and community partners.
- Nurture ongoing relationships with patients who join Sage, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings, sharing sales plans and results.
- Outside sales/account management experience required (minimum of 2 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Healthcare knowledge a plus.
- Detail-oriented and proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Extensive CRM experience, such as Salesforce.
- High energy, self-motivated, and a desire to control one's own income.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills to large groups.
- Reliable transportation and a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required.
