Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at Hendrickson Intl. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating heat treat operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret work orders to determine material specifications and requirements.
  • Operate heat treat machines, positioning work pieces against stops and activating machines as needed.
  • Monitor machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions, and report any issues to the lead person or supervisor.
  • Identify and address soft spots on cam surfaces, and stamp parts correctly and legibly.
  • Assemble cams as needed, and complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow written and oral work instructions, and work effectively with supervision and colleagues.
  • Be willing to operate other machines as needed, such as Hobbs and Rack Roller.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good eye-hand coordination and motor skills.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read blueprints and orders.
  • Demonstrated dependability and adherence to safety rules and regulations.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to a noisy work environment.
  • Exposure to hot and humid conditions.
  • Exposure to coolants, oils, grease, and water.
  • Ear and eye protection required at all times in production areas.
  • Steel toe boots with integrated metatarsal guards required in production areas.
