Display System Engineer - AR Expert

At Meta Reality Labs, we're pushing the boundaries of augmented reality technology. As a Display System Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and productizing display modules and systems that deliver transformative experiences in AR products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and improve display system performance
  • Drive testing strategies at factories
  • Iterate display specifications throughout engineering and mass production phases
  • Collaborate with Process, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, System Architecture, and Display Component teams
  • Manage partnerships with Technology Leaders, TPMs, GSMs, and Operations Teams

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Physics, Optical Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in optical manufacturing, displays components, and/or camera assembly
  • Experience in bringing up first-generation technologies into device form factors
  • Experience with optical design, manufacturing, tolerancing, and quality control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Optical Sciences, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Optical simulation experience (Zemax, Fred, or Light Tool)
