Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Transport Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Patient Transport Associate, you will be responsible for transporting patients, supplies, and laboratory items in a safe and efficient manner throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients, supplies, and laboratory items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide patient comfort and handle all patients in a calm and reassuring manner.
  • Assist with all transfers to and from bedside according to correct mode of transportation.
  • Manage all transport equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing after use.
  • Establish patient identification in conjunction with the Ticket to Ride procedure before transport is initiated.
  • Report transport delays or cancellations to the receiving department and properly code through the Transport Tracking system.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • 1-2 years of transport or related experience preferred.
