We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Physician to join our innovative telehealth services team at OpenTelemed Services. As a Telehealth Physician, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care through electronic communication, including real-time audio-video communication, online digital visits, and remote patient monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a wide range of telehealth services, including Evaluation & Management (E&M), online digital visits, and non-face-to-face nonphysician telephone services.
  • Supervise nurses and other healthcare staff, ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe various diagnostic tests, analyze results, and explain them to patients.
  • Formulate suitable treatment plans for non-threatening conditions and prescribe appropriate medications with proper dosage and administration instructions.
  • Conduct assessments and management via phone, internet, or EHR, including generating verbal and written reports.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Holistic or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Valid license to practice medicine, with a willingness to obtain additional state medical licenses as needed.
  • Board-certified in family or internal medicine or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a telemedicine physician is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Patient and compassionate disposition, with a detail-oriented approach to patient care.
