Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Producer to oversee the production of our morning news show, Good Day LA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a newsroom leader and a strong background in morning show production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all news coverage and work closely with the Good Day LA team to ensure high-quality programming.
  • Develop and implement editorial strategies to attract a demographically driven audience.
  • Collaborate with on-air talent, producers, and field crews to produce engaging and informative content.
  • Manage newsroom operations, including editorial decisions, script production, and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a news Executive Producer in a medium to major size market.
  • Strong news judgment, knowledge of current events, and excellent communication and people skills.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality content and meeting ratings goals.
  • Knowledge of TV production techniques, newsroom computer systems, and editorial software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions during breaking news events.
