The Logistics team drives the company forward by executing daily tasks with dedication and precision. Each team member's contribution, no matter how small, is vital to our collective success. A focus on the finer details is what enables Bread Alone to reach its highest goals.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time role with a work schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. We aim to create manageable schedules that support a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Bread Alone product range and associated quality standards to ensure all outgoing products meet these criteria.
  • Operate various equipment and machinery in accordance with provided guidelines.
  • Efficiently follow order picking sheets to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Implement instructions from Supervisors and Managers to enhance workflow efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize station-specific checklists for setup and breakdown of work areas.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the day, maintaining accurate records and reporting issues to supervisors.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Engage in effective communication with fellow Logistics Specialists, Supervisors, and Managers to boost productivity.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring Bread Alone delivers consistent and high-quality products.
  • Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety, GMP, culture, and food safety protocols.
  • Maintain safe operation of equipment as per training and supervisory guidance.
  • Alert supervisors to any necessary equipment calibration, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
  • Complete assigned tasks at designated stations.
  • Actively participate in your professional growth by discussing areas of interest with your manager.
  • Report any work-related issues to supervisors promptly.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Compensation: Bread Alone Bakery is dedicated to ethically balancing business needs while providing a living wage to all employees. Compensation for this position ranges from $17.50 to $20 per hour.
