Job Description

Easterseals Massachusetts is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live, learn, and thrive. We are seeking a highly skilled College Student Support Specialist to join our team.

This role requires a strong understanding of disability support services and the ability to provide on-campus and virtual support to college students with disabilities. The successful candidate will develop action plans, provide coaching, and advocate for students to ensure their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized action plans to support students with disabilities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to students on executive functioning skills, time management, and organization
  • Collaborate with college staff to identify and address potential barriers and challenges
  • Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure equal access to education and resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a college setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and disability support services
