Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

* Repair and replace parts on machines, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

* Examine machine controls to install plate changeovers and start up machines for production needs when required.

* Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.

* Document and track changeover times and record to ensure accurate maintenance records.

* Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety, reduce downtime, decrease scrap, improve quality production, and improve plant efficiency.

* Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards, to ensure a safe work environment.

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* 3-5 years' experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

* Electrical experience

* Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.

* Ability to use precision measuring devices, including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges.

* Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use decimals and fractions.

* Ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner, demonstrate personal responsibility, and perform all assigned duties.
