Responsibilities
  • Provide continuing and comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families, working under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health.
  • Collaborate with the supervising psychiatrist to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising psychiatrist.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed, under the supervision of the supervising psychiatrist.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community resources.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric mental health nursing and medicine.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with certification as a PMHNP or graduate of a certified Physician's Assistant program.
  • Two plus years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant, preferred.
  • Current licensure to practice psychiatric nursing in Massachusetts.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between sites.
  • Preference will be given to bilingual/bicultural individuals who are Spanish or Portuguese.
  • High level of commitment to continuous improvement in the quest for comprehensive and quality healthcare.
