Responsibilities- Provide continuing and comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families, working under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health.
- Collaborate with the supervising psychiatrist to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising psychiatrist.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed, under the supervision of the supervising psychiatrist.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community resources.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric mental health nursing and medicine.
- Master's Degree in Nursing with certification as a PMHNP or graduate of a certified Physician's Assistant program.
- Two plus years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant, preferred.
- Current licensure to practice psychiatric nursing in Massachusetts.
- Reliable transportation to travel between sites.
- Preference will be given to bilingual/bicultural individuals who are Spanish or Portuguese.
- High level of commitment to continuous improvement in the quest for comprehensive and quality healthcare.
