Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team at ATI. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce high-quality parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machine tools, adjusting stops, feeds, and speeds for efficient machining.
  • Material Handling: Receive instructions from supervisors and review with off-going machine operators all material in-process.
  • Tool Selection and Maintenance: Select tooling in accordance with the machinability of the material and grind tooling for special applications.
  • Quality Control: Machine parts or material to total tolerances of greater than 0.010 inches and to any finish requirement.
  • Material Identification: Maintain constant identity of material throughout operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills: Proficiency in machine tool operation and maintenance.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail.
  • Communication skills: Effective communication with supervisors and off-going machine operators.
