Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Banquet Server to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at special events, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service: Deliver and serve appetizers, main courses, condiments, desserts, and other side dishes, as well as drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Table Maintenance: Remove plates, replacing utensils, and keeping an eye out for spills or any special needs from guests.
  • Drink Refills: Refill guests' glasses as necessary or requested with coffee, water, or other drinks.
  • Guest Experience: Offer an outstanding guest experience from the beginning to the end of each banquet event.
  • Food Safety: Review relevant food handling safety regulations to ensure that you and your team are following them.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitary service area, adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay attention to detail and presentation of banquet set-up, ensuring a visually appealing experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong, organizational and time management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills interacting with guests and coworkers.
  • Experience: Experience working in food service is preferred, with a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Education: Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED).
