This position is within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) Classified IT Transformation organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all IT systems are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with both Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • This includes systems engineering and implementation, routine updates, major upgrades, on-going maintenance and support of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and other peripherals as well as vulnerability scanning/patching, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance and adherence to the Risk Management Framework.
  • This position may also be responsible for execution of server initiatives, server asset inventory management, server support and troubleshooting of all server infrastructure related hardware, software and all related tasks and requirements.
  • This role utilizes troubleshooting skills to provide timely and effective solutions to problems as well as developing technical solutions to complex problems which require consistent use of ingenuity and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years Experience with Windows Operating Systems (i.e., Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, etc.), and Linux Operating Systems (i.e., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, IBM/AIX, etc.)
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.))
  • Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and WSUS
  • Experience performing software installations, support, and documentation
  • Experience in end user support / incident response
  • Ability to provide after hours/on call support
  • Security+ Certification (or ability / willingness to obtain within 90 days of start)

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding and or experience working Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.e. STIG & DSS compliance, documentation, etc.
  • Understanding of virtualization infrastructure such as VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, etc.
  • Understanding of NAS/SAN/PFS storage systems and related networking
  • Basic understanding of routing/switching networking concepts
  • Scripting ability to support system administration (Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience working with environment management solutions (SPLUNK, McAfee EPO, vSphere, Azure etc.)
  • Experience working with Cloud Environment Azure / AWS
  • Understanding and or experience working with SQL or other databases.
  • Understanding and or experience working with Exchange, SharePoint, Skype, Teams

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
