About the Role

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager I to oversee the operations of a multi-family residential community. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Manage, hire, schedule, and develop the on-site team, including office and maintenance personnel.
  • Evaluate and Improve Staff Performance: Evaluate the efficiency of staff and provide ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and supportive leadership to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Operational and Administrative Tasks: Oversee the community budget and achievement of operational, financial, and occupancy goals, including reviewing and monitoring all district accounting and financial matters.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: Provide constant vendor and contractor communications concerning scheduling, billing, vendor relations, and certificates of insurance.
  • Capital Expenditure Projects: Oversee all capital expenditure projects for the community, including approvals, letters, tracking, scheduling, and inspections.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Participate and oversee staff in outreach marketing activities, including market surveys and competitor analysis, to obtain prospective residents.
  • Property Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular property walks and inspections to ensure the community is well-maintained according to Liberty Military Housing's quality standards.
  • Resident Relations: Ensure resident concerns and requests are responded to in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in the property management industry, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven success demonstrating leadership, customer service, problem-solving, decision-making, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Education and Certifications: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred, with Fair Housing certification required within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in personal computers, including keyboard, internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, and other software applications preferred.
  • Availability: Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities, with a flexible schedule including weekends, off-hours, and emergencies as required.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $64,500 - $83,000 annually.
