We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Peckham Industries. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting our enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement network solutions utilizing current and emerging technologies.
- Develop and enforce corporate policies, standards, and guidelines for network infrastructure.
- Plan and recommend network hardware, systems management software, and architecture.
- Monitor network performance and proactively assess and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical expertise and support for VoIP telephony systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud networking, server, and PaaS components.
- Experience with scripting to automate resource deployment tasks and processes using PowerShell, Bicep, and AzureCLI.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and complementary solutions, as well as network standards and best practices.
- Ability to understand the risks of network maintenance outages and the consequences of such action.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Apple, and Linux Operating System environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical or business discipline.
- Minimum five years of quality technical experience, or a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience for non-degree holders.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role requires the ability to sit at a desk and also involves frequent walking, bending, or standing, as necessary. In addition, this position requires the ability to lift 25 lbs. or more and requires pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, and reaching.
