Nurse Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Southern Ohio Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients, documenting all relevant information in their medical records.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Promote patient safety by identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Certified Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in intensive care or progressive care units.
Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
