Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Eventus WholeHealth. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our clinical care team by supporting and facilitating clinical services with our assigned providers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring that each patient is seen as medically necessary per clinical protocol, serving as a buffer between providers and families/staff, and documenting appropriate encounter and time for CCM and BHI services.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also assist with scheduling, prepare clinical documentation for assigned providers, and complete basic opening of encounter notes as per discipline protocol. - Work closely with assigned providers to ensure seamless delivery of clinical services
- Document all patient interactions and activities in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Typing speed of 45wpm or greater
- Certified Medical Assistant degree a plus
