Job Summary

At LINET Group SE, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support and repair services for medical equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Assist customers in resolving technical issues and provide training on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support Team to resolve complex technical issues and improve service delivery.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical equipment technologies and advancements through ongoing education and training.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols when working with medical equipment and in healthcare environments.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Field Service Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical equipment repair and maintenance, or a related field.
  • Advanced technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 pounds.

Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to healthcare facilities and may involve working in fast-paced and dynamic environments. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.

Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations to troubleshoot and repair medical equipment.
