Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Tufts Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with radiological standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assess patient condition, ensure patient safety, and communicate pertinent data to healthcare teams.
  • Coordinate radiographic examinations to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Initiate incident reports and communicate with supervisors as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiological Technology.
  • Certification granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
  • Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years directly related experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to transport patients and move equipment as needed.
  • Occasionally sitting, frequent standing, walking, and lifting of 30-35 lbs.
  • Able to wear protective lead aprons and lead gloves during examinations.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of radiographic equipment, examinations, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize patient care and set priorities.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
