Job Overview

Bags, a leading provider of transportation services, is seeking a highly skilled Passenger Service Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of passengers through our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the movement of wheelchair and walker vehicles to ensure timely arrival at flights
  • Receive and process tickets for wheelchair crew at the start of the day
  • Communicate with service crew and clients to track wheelchair location and job status
  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
  • Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews using telephones or two-way radios
  • Supervise and assist wheelchair assistants as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Available to work various shifts
  • Ability to obtain an Airport Badge
  • Operations experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet
  • Ability to work with private information in a confidential and professional manner

Appearance Guidelines:

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes wearing clean and well-maintained approved uniforms on shift.

Work Environment:

The Passenger Service Dispatcher will work in a fast-paced airport environment, requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly as needed.
