Job Summary

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Laundry department at Life Care Center of Leominster. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, ensure a clean and safe working environment, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Management: Plan, organize, and direct the overall operations of the Laundry department to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise laundry staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all laundry operations are performed in accordance with Life Care standards and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience in a health care setting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of environmental control practices and procedures, ability to make independent decisions, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
