Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations to pinpoint and assess potential vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in defining SOX scope, identifying risks and controls, and preparing testing strategies.
  • Oversee enterprise compliance projects and provide training to control stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with control stakeholders to formulate actionable remediation strategies for control weaknesses, addressing underlying issues.
  • Work alongside Business Process Owners/Control Owners to document critical in-scope processes, including detailed process narratives and flowcharts.
  • Ensure effective project management oversight to meet milestone deadlines.
  • Facilitate discussions with internal and external auditors and manage the collection of necessary documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with budgetary constraints and timelines, proactively resolving any obstacles.
  • Independently document, evaluate, and communicate findings and conclusions of work performed in accordance with documentation standards.
  • Promote ongoing improvements in the internal control framework.
  • Assist in reviewing and enhancing SOX program methodologies and practices, including the upkeep of policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational background in accounting or a related discipline, complemented by relevant certifications.
  • Possession of certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CCSA, or CFE.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and/or compliance functions.
