Senior Project Manager/Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Traffic Engineer to join our team at Alliance Transportation Group, LLC. As a key member of our North Texas operation, you will play a crucial role in growing our Traffic Engineering practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a variety of projects, including existing condition and traffic surveys, traffic studies, and traffic impact study reviews.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis, schematic design, and traffic engineering computations, including capacity and level of service analysis.
  • Develop corridor studies, transportation and micro-simulation modeling, final plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee construction and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to acquire within 3 months.
  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in traffic engineering, with expertise in engineering software, manuals, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 12 or more years of experience performing projects similar to those listed above, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
  • Proven track record of success in business development.
  • Strong team-building and team management skills.
  • Experience using SYNCHRO, VISSIM, and similar modeling software.
  • Experience with Microstation or other CAD software.
  • TxDOT precertification in applicable categories.
