  • Stay informed about market dynamics that influence price fluctuations.
  • Relay critical market insights and developments to fellow traders and management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of trading regulations and ensure compliance without exception.
  • Operate within the established policies, procedures, and position limits set by management, accurately reporting all trading positions and outcomes.
  • Coordinate cost-effective and efficient logistics for commodity transportation.
  • Safeguard the company’s reputation through transparent and ethical management of customer and supplier interactions.
  • Oversee support staff to ensure the proper execution of all contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in commodity trading is preferred.
  • Must possess a positive demeanor and the ability to inspire both staff and clients.
  • Demonstrated understanding of commodity markets, including futures and cash markets.
  • Proven expertise in grain flows, freight markets, and identifying market opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively manage customer relationships in a professional manner.
