As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childhood experiences that support the early learning, development, and school readiness of young children./ph4Responsibilities:/h4ulliImplement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for individual children and the classroom as a whole, working closely with the lead teacher to administer developmental assessments and implement social and emotional strategies./liliCommunicate effectively with parents and co-workers, providing assistance to teachers and ensuring a healthy and safe environment for children./liliEnsure that day-to-day licensing standards and requirements set by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, accreditation bodies, and Step Up to Quality are maintained./liliSupports completion and collection of evaluation measures and adherence to best practice and agency standards./liliAssists with completion of all required program reporting and paperwork, including assessment data and licensing reports for external purposes./liliMeets all personal credentials and required training hours for SUTQ and Licensing./liliCoordinates and establishes activity calendars, completes lesson plans with best practice standards and regulatory requirements, and ensures effective implementation of all plans utilizing the SUTQ Standards and Creative Curriculum program structure./liliEnsures that lesson plans are being carried out, student goals and portfolios are updated monthly, and implementation and action plans are accurate, current, and documented./li/ulh4Requirements:/h4ulliA High School diploma or equivalent, with a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification a plus./liliAbility to work in any age group, with direct classroom experience in a licensed childcare or preschool environment preferred./liliStrong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for students in your classroom age group./liliFlexibility to work within our open hours schedule, with the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 pounds./liliFBI/BCII Background check required./li/ulh4Benefits:/h4ulli401k/lili401k matching/liliPaid Holidays/liliChildcare discount/li/ul
