Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the early learning, development, and school readiness of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social and emotional growth, as well as cognitive development.
  • Lead a teaching team and provide guidance and support to assistant teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a comprehensive approach to child development.
  • Administer developmental assessments and implement social and emotional strategies to support children's growth and well-being.
  • Manage program expenses and adhere to program budget requirements, including staff hours and resources.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or higher; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Direct teaching experience in a preschool setting, preferably in a Head Start or Preschool environment.
  • Strong knowledge of social and emotional development and developmentally appropriate practices for preschoolers.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, responsibilities, and physical ability to perform the job of a teacher of young children.
