Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a leader in our PACU department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Instruct patients and families on medication and treatment instructions
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during designated shifts
Requirements
  • Current Florida RN licensure or compact licensure with active FL RN licensure within 60 days of hire
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • ACLS certification required for specific units
  • PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer for ER units
  • CPI certification required within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health units
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
