Position Overview
Waltonen Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Processor to oversee critical engineering initiatives. This role involves managing intricate projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Processing Manager.
- Oversee the execution of significant engineering tasks, providing both administrative and technical guidance to team members.
- Initiate and supervise engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Project Management
- Coordinate essential resources to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project timelines and maintain comprehensive weld documentation.
- Develop strategies to adhere to mandatory deadlines and ensure effective collaboration between design teams and regulatory bodies.
Quality Assurance
- Prepare and support general specifications.
- Drive quality initiatives to meet customer specifications and requirements.
- Encourage continuous improvement efforts within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Siemens UG/NX for navigation and observation.
- Experience in automotive body-in-white (BIW) engineering, whether light or heavy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Siemens Process Designer or eM Planner.
- Knowledge of GM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD's).
- Understanding of automotive BIW departments and their outputs.
