Job Description

Job Summary:

The Store Manager II is responsible for the operation of a Goodwill retail store in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards. This includes processing of all donations by category for resale or salvage sales, effective staff management, and achieving sales and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production goals, ensuring products are put on the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Appraise and price housewares and furniture to maximize monetary value.
  • Oversee quality of goods going to the sales floor, ensuring pricing and grading standards are followed.
  • Manage staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules, assign employees to specific duties, and monitor, review, and process payroll.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of retail or related management experience at an Assistant Manager level or above required.
  • Advanced education may be substituted for experience.
