ABOUT DPH CATH LAB

  • The Dr. P. Phillips Cardiac Cath Lab features four specialized suites for various cardiac procedures.
  • Our facility is equipped to handle a range of interventions, including electrophysiology and heart catheterizations.
  • We provide a dedicated pre/post procedural area designed for patient monitoring and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced patient care in the Emergency Department under the guidance of the Nursing Operations manager.
  • Adhere to established protocols and maintain compliance with state regulations.
  • Effectively communicate patient conditions to relevant healthcare team members.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment within the Emergency Department.
  • Participate in maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

  • Completion of an accredited Paramedic program.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Paramedic certification in the State of Florida.
  • Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • PALS certification must be obtained within one year of hire.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required.
