We are seeking a highly skilled Child Abuse Specialist Psychologist to join our team at Saint Peter's Healthcare System.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide supervised services to clients of the Central New Jersey Regional Child Protection Center, including assessment, direct intervention, consultation, and training.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychological services to children and families affected by abuse, including assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in grand rounds, teaching/training, and presentations at conferences to share knowledge and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including physicians, social service agencies, and nursing staff, to enhance consultation and referral services.
- Doctorate in child clinical, developmental, school or pediatric psychology from an accredited institution.
- NJ license or eligibility required; supervision available for licensure purposes.
- At least 2 years of experience in assessment, child abuse (physical and/or sexual), treatment of parents and children, and consultation.
- Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
A competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings options.
