About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our growing IVF/Fertility clinic in Orange County. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient medical histories and vital signs with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures with professionalism and empathy.
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians while maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with patient education and counseling, ensuring that patients understand their treatment options and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and filing paperwork efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience within a medical office setting, preferably in a fertility or OB-GYN clinic.
  • Proficient in taking and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems, including billing and insurance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
