Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budgetary objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  2. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contract agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  3. Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed estimates for clients, considering labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts, and other expenses.
  4. Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion and meet budgetary objectives.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and other teams to develop deeper relationships with clients and partners, driving business growth.
  6. Project Management Tools: Utilize Procore and other project management tools to streamline project execution, ensure data accuracy, and facilitate collaboration.
  7. Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress, address client concerns, and ensure projects are on track.
  8. Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, minimizing delays and costs.
  9. Professionalism and Communication: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues, fostering positive working relationships.
  10. Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure working environment by adhering to safety protocols, reporting hazards, and promoting a culture of safety.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the data center industry or large commercial/industrial industry.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management in the construction of data centers and commercial/industrial industries.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Office, BlueBeam, Accubid, and Procore.
  4. Driver's License: Active driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Applied Science, or Architecture.
  2. SCIF Experience: Experience in SCIF construction a plus.
  3. Commercial General Contractor Experience: Experience as a commercial general contractor a plus.
  4. PMP Certification: PMP certification a plus.
  5. Security Clearance: Active security clearance a plus.
