At ManTech International Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Director to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to the maintenance, upgrade, and implementation of new IT infrastructure hardware and software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources (budget, personnel, equipment) to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status reports to management and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of (8) eight years of experience in program management, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
  • A minimum of (7) seven years of management experience with a program similar in dollar value, size, scope, and complexity.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT programs within a government environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure hardware and software platforms.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with the IT Service Delivery to an ITIL/ITSM framework similar in size, scope, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management on projects of a similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a geographically dispersed operations and engineering staff of varying skill level in a project environment similar in size and scope.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing service level agreements and performance metrics on a contract.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Federal procurement process and familiarity with the administration of cost-type contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and SAFe Agile principles/methodologies and experience modernizing the processes, procedures, and application support environment toward Agile/DevOps approach.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold a Top-Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
