Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Compliance Management
  • Working closely with HR leadership to ensure that all compliance documentation and internal controls align with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identifying and addressing compliance issues through thorough investigation and collaboration with management.
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records for all employees, ensuring adherence to legal requirements including medical records, I-9 forms, E-Verify, background checks, and drug screenings.
  • Conducting regular internal audits to verify compliance with established procedures.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for audits, addressing the needs of HR, management, finance, and regulatory bodies.
  • Completing necessary federal and state filings, including OSHA and EEO-1 reports.

HRIS Administration
  • Collaborating with internal HR teams, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues.
  • Leading initiatives for enhancements and optimization of HR software.
  • Conducting audits to ensure data integrity within HR systems.
  • Creating and delivering training materials and quick reference guides for system functionality.
  • Providing feedback on organizational needs related to HRIS implementation and upgrades.
  • Analyzing workflows within the HRIS to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Assisting with employee access issues, including password resets and role assignments.
  • Supporting payroll processing by ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Administering employee benefits and assisting with annual open enrollment.
  • Contributing to recruitment and onboarding efforts by maintaining compliance with practices and policies.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an HRIS analyst or in a similar role.
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and enhance HRIS processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of staff.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through.
  • Research, presentation, and facilitation skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional HR certifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to five pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods during the workday.
  • Ability to bend and move as necessary.
