CNC Lathe Machinist Job Summary

Wagstaff, a leading American engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join its team. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mazak lathes to produce precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate CNC Mazak lathes to manufacture precision parts
  • Program and modify CNC machining programs to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work products and troubleshoot quality issues
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of CNC Lathe experience
  • Preferred experience with Mazak 5-axis Integrex
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
Working Environment:

The CNC Lathe Machinist will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, and equipment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the working environment is often loud.
