Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care as a CNS in post-acute care settings
  • Monitoring care options and collaborating with medical staff on outcomes
  • Developing care plans in partnership with residents and healthcare teams
  • Setting up and overseeing medical equipment
  • Administering appropriate treatments and medications to residents
  • Collecting bodily fluids for laboratory analysis
  • Discussing care options with residents and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  • Overseeing accurate documentation of resident care and interventions
  • Providing training and guidance to nursing and support staff
  • Assisting with incident investigations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
