Research Coordinator II

Houston Methodist Academic Institute seeks a highly skilled Research Coordinator II to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of research protocols, assessing patient qualification, and ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate research protocols, including drafting communications with sponsors and regulatory documents.
- Recruit and monitor clinical research subjects, identifying enrollment goals and conducting in-services for floor nurses and physicians.
- Assist in precepting new clinical research staff and educating peers on scientific aspects of studies.
- Participate in Principal Investigator meetings, schedule and coordinate site initiation visits, and obtain informed consent from study participants.
- Monitor participants' labs, notify the PI of laboratory findings, and maintain source documentation and forms as per protocol.
- Bachelor's degree
- Four years of research experience
- CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
This role is based in Houston, Texas, and may require travel within the metropolitan area.
