Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary: As a key member of our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, the Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will collaborate with attending physicians to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the Electrophysiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas. This role requires a strong foundation in cardiology and electrophysiology, with a focus on evaluating and managing patients with conduction system disorders, arrhythmias, pacemakers, and defibrillators.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients in the Electrophysiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas
- Collaborate with attending physicians to develop treatment plans
- Manage patients with conduction system disorders, arrhythmias, pacemakers, and defibrillators
- Work with a team of advanced clinical practice providers, nurses, and technicians to evaluate and manage patients
Requirements:
- Masters degree or greater in a relevant field
- Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Certification
- Current CDS and DEA licenses required
- Computer proficiency
Work Environment: This role requires regular internal and external contacts involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion to obtain information and/or willing action or consent where it would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
Supervision: The Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will report to the immediate supervisor and perform duties commensurate with approved privileges, following established procedures.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 80 bi-weekly hours
