The Electrical Engineering Department at California Polytechnic State University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities:
Candidates will be responsible for:
1. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical engineering, with a preference for those who can cover multiple specialties.
2. Supervising both undergraduate and graduate research projects.
3. Developing and sustaining externally funded research initiatives.
4. Collaborating with fellow faculty on curriculum development and research projects.
5. Engaging in service activities such as advising student organizations and participating in shared governance.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and scholarly activity, with expertise in one of the following areas:
- Digital, Analog, and Mixed-Signal Electronics
- VLSI and Digital Electronics
- Cyber-Physical Systems, including Control Systems and Robotics
Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience, with anticipated ranges for Assistant Professors between $100,000 and $112,000, and for Associate Professors between $109,000 and $122,000.
