Job Summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in admission procedures, searching for contraband, orienting patients to the unit/hospital environment, identifying and recording patient valuables, and completing documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in Admission Procedures: You will assist in the admission process, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Searching for Contraband: You will conduct thorough searches for contraband, maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Orienting Patients to the Unit/Hospital Environment: You will provide patients with a comprehensive orientation to the unit/hospital environment, ensuring they understand their surroundings and the services available to them.
  • Identifying and Recording Patient Valuables: You will identify and record patient valuables, ensuring that patients' personal belongings are secure and accounted for.
  • Completing Documentation Requirements: You will complete all necessary documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
Qualifications
  • Required Skills and Knowledge: You will possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team.
  • Required Work Experience: You will have at least one year of experience in the care of mentally ill or emotionally disturbed persons in a psychiatric facility, or equivalent experience in a related field.
