The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst. This role will be based in our Abbott Park, IL location and will be part of our GES Global Engineering Services division.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for developing data-intensive Power BI reports and dashboards, implementing technology innovation, and ensuring data governance and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust analytical tools using Power BI
  • Implement technology innovation to enhance internal processes and create a competitive edge in strategic pricing and contracting
  • Craft new Power BI reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making
  • Meticulously document workflows to ensure clarity and continuity in operations
  • Design and present proof of concepts to demonstrate the practicality of new security technologies
  • Provide project support and project management
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field
  • Proficient in Power BI, data visualization, and data governance
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Power Platform suite experience, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps
  • Networking and Cyber Security background experience
  • Managing Enterprise Architecture experience
  • Physical Security Systems Knowledge
  • Experience managing IoT Devices
  • Certified in CISSP/ITIL/Comptia Security +
