Responsibilities

The Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Director will play a critical role in leading our technical accounting function, providing expert guidance on complex accounting issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, and financial instruments
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards
  • Leading the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and audit support
  • Providing training and guidance to accounting staff on technical accounting matters and updates to accounting standards
  • Cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and legal departments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, with significant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting
  • 2+ years' experience in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations
