Role Overview
State Tested Nurse Aides are responsible for delivering care to residents in the Health Center while following directives from the Charge Nurse. They operate within their certified scope as per their STNA qualifications.

At the Napoleon Campus, we offer both full-time and part-time positions for day and night shifts. Shifts are 12 hours long, from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Employees can achieve full-time status by working just three days a week, which also grants them access to benefits.

Compensation and Benefits
Night shift employees receive a premium of $1.50 per hour. A sign-on bonus of $6,000 is available for full-time positions and $3,000 for part-time roles. Additionally, there is an accountability incentive of $3 per hour for full-time staff and $1.50 per hour for part-time staff. Pick-up pay is $6 per hour for day shifts and $10 per hour for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care to ensure residents' comfort and well-being.
- Adhere to all guidelines established through the STNA training program and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks to maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist residents during admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure quality care throughout transitions.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet the specific needs of each resident, encouraging their ability to make personal choices.
- Report any allegations of abuse or neglect to the appropriate leadership and document hazardous incidents as necessary.
- Accept guidance from the Charge Nurse regarding direct resident care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Current State of Ohio STNA certification.
- One to two years of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
