We are seeking an experienced Service Technician/Installer to join our team at PGT Innovations. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction in the installation of our windows and doors.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot Problems: Identify and resolve issues with window and door installations, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
- Visit Job Sites: Conduct site visits to inspect and verify the quality of our installations, ensuring that all work meets our standards.
- Re-glaze Windows: Re-glaze windows as needed to ensure a seamless and high-quality finish.
- Service Sliding Glass Doors: Service and repair sliding glass doors to ensure they function properly and meet our quality standards.
- Inspect and Accept Final Product: Inspect the final product with customers to ensure that it meets their expectations and our quality standards.
- Repair Issues: Repair any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring that all work is completed to our high standards.
- Communicate with Team Members: Communicate effectively with our service manager, production manager, and other team members to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure Materials are Available: Ensure that all necessary materials are available for projects prior to commencement.
- Communicate with Customers: Communicate effectively with customers throughout the installation process, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with the final product.
- Experience: Must have experience with window and door installation and service, or 2+ years of carpentry experience.
- Customer Service Skills: Must have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Organizational Skills: Must be organized and have good follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate and able to use our software systems effectively.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and 50+lbs with assistance, and be able to use hand tools.
- Daily Travel: Required to travel to service sites daily, ensuring that all installations are completed to our high standards.
