Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operators, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet the required standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production operators, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure that all activities are aligned and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Safety and GMPs: Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, quality control) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a production environment with moderate to loud noise levels, exposure to machine noise and food dust, and varying temperatures (heat, cold, and moisture). The employee may be exposed to allergens of the industry, including eggs, wheat, peanuts, dairy products, tree nuts, and soy products, as well as latex and powders.
