Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and special procedures
  • Provide patient education, assessment, and monitoring
  • Administer medications and participate in performance improvement activities
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and infection control policies
  • Participate in an on-call schedule for STEMI interventions
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure from the Virginia State Board of Nursing
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & AHA ACLS required
  • Imaging, Interventional and Therapeutic Environments Certification, Preferred
  • Two years critical care or emergency room nursing experience, Preferred
